Personal data processing notice
pursuant to Art. 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 ("GDPR") · Versione italiana
1. Data controller
Grazia Roggero, reachable at graziaroggero@gmail.com.
2. Data collected and purposes
We collect: first name, last name, email address and (optionally) city. Purposes:
- (a) Signing the appeal for a pardon for Mario Roggero — legal basis: explicit consent (Art. 6.1.a and, as a precaution, Art. 9.2.a GDPR, since a signature may reveal an opinion).
- (b) Publication of name and city among the signatories — only with separate optional consent. Your email address is never published.
- (c) Campaign updates by email — only with separate optional consent.
Providing data for purpose (a) is necessary in order to sign; purposes (b) and (c) are optional.
3. Processing and security
Data is processed electronically and protected by appropriate technical measures (encrypted HTTPS connection, restricted-access database, anti-bot protection). No profiling or automated decision-making takes place.
4. Recipients and data processors
Data is stored with the following providers, appointed as data processors or operating with equivalent guarantees (standard contractual clauses for any transfers outside the EU):
- Supabase Inc. — hosting of the signature database
- Cloudflare Inc. — website hosting and anti-bot protection (Turnstile)
Data is NOT sold, transferred or disclosed to any other party, and is not used for advertising.
5. Retention
Data is retained until the end of the campaign and in any case no longer than 12 months after the outcome of the case (granting or denial of the pardon, or closure of the campaign), after which it will be deleted.
6. Your rights
You may at any time exercise the rights provided by Arts. 15-22 GDPR: access, rectification, erasure (withdrawal of your signature), restriction, objection and withdrawal of consent (with future effect). Simply write to graziaroggero@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).
7. Cookies
The petition page uses no profiling cookies or analytics tools. The Updates page may display third-party advertisements (Adsterra network) that use cookies: such ads are loaded only after your explicit consent via the dedicated banner, and you can decline them while continuing to read the content. The only technical cookies always present are those strictly necessary for anti-bot protection (Cloudflare Turnstile).
